Should I have one battery or two?

Base offers two different battery system configurations. The right configuration depends on your home’s layout, energy needs, and compliance with the National Electric Code.

• Single Ground Mounted: A single-unit system is great for most homes. It’s mounted on the ground and fits into smaller outdoor areas.

• Double Ground Mounted: A two-unit system is great for homes with a lot of outdoor space and high energy needs.

Note - once you have been approved for a battery system, the Base Power team is unable to change the battery system configuration for your home. For example, if you are approved for a Single Ground Mounted battery system, you will be unable to change your order to a Double Ground Mounted system.
