Do cities require permits for Base battery installations?

Edited

Some cities require one or two inspections after the battery installation to close out the project and permits. These typically include a temporary/rough electrical inspection and a final electrical inspection.

The purpose of these inspections is to ensure that the battery system meets National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and that the installation is safe and compliant with local regulations.

Base will handle all coordination with the city and notify you when the inspection is scheduled or if we need anything from you. There is no additional cost to you for these inspections. They typically take place within a couple of weeks after the battery installation.
