What are my responsibilities as a landlord with Base Power?

As a landlord with a Base battery system on your property, you are responsible for ensuring the renter has proper access to the system and understands how to use it. You should maintain the physical integrity of the battery installation and ensure no damage occurs. Base handles all maintenance and service. You should disclose the battery system to prospective tenants and encourage them to activate energy service with Base.

If your renter does not activate energy service with Base, the battery system may be deactivated and applicable de-installation fees may apply. Your energy service cannot remain in your name when a renter occupies the home.
