How much does Base charge for energy?
You can see Base's latest plans and Electricity Facts Labels (EFLs) here.
Base offers affordable pricing and reliable backup power. Since revenue comes from the grid, not customers, Base avoids hidden fees and surprise hikes. Your agreement also legally guarantees your rates stay below the market average.
Understanding Your Energy Rate
The energy rate quoted in your Electricity Facts Label is your "all-in" rate, which already includes both Base's energy charge AND your utility company's delivery charges (TDSP fees) - which we pass to you with no markup.
This means the price you see advertised is the total price you'll pay per kWh - there are no additional per-kWh charges on top of this rate.
There are no penalties or additional fees for using more than 2,000 kWh in a month.
The "@2000 kWh" reference is simply the standard usage level at which Texas electricity providers advertise their rates for comparison purposes.
