I already have a home battery. Can I get the Base energy + battery rate?
Yes. You do not need a Base battery. If you already have a home battery of any brand (Tesla, Franklin, Enphase, or another), you can enroll in Base's energy + battery plan and get that rate.
We will not install a Base battery, take over yours, or charge an installation fee on this path. You keep your battery. Base becomes your retail electricity provider.
How to enroll
Email enrollments@basepowercompany.com with the subject "Existing battery: energy + battery plan."
Include your name, service address, utility, battery make and model, and a photograph of your installed battery.
We process the switch and send you the Electricity Facts Label for the energy + battery plan.
You can also call us and ask for the energy + battery plan. Tell us you already have a battery. You do not need to book a Base battery installation.
