You can see your solar data on your monthly bill in the “Solar Credits” section.
Base credits you for all of your solar overproduction each month. On your bill, our buyback rate is 3 cents plus a bonus of the real-time wholesale (RTW) price for solar.
Your Solar Credit amount is the rate multiplied by your kWh of unused solar. Underneath the credits, we also list your home’s solar usage (“Solar usage by home”) so you can see your usage alongside your overproduction.
If your bill is negative, Base rolls over your credits to the following month.
If your solar production data is different than what you see in your solar provider's app, that is likely because their calculation does not properly understand or incorporate how our battery works. Our solar production measurement is as precise as possible.
We recommend downloading the Base Power mobile application once your battery is installed. If your home has solar, then you will see a suite of features that will show you how your solar system is working for your home and how much you are being compensated for your solar over production.
